project description:
Recently, I acquired (thanks to ebay ..) one of the earlier Stereo-3D cameras around in the 1950ies, an Iloca II (which later-on sort of became the more well-known TDC Realist). With its dual shutter / dual (yet coupled, as opposed to the earlier Iloca I model) lenses it shoots image pairs of 20x24 mm each - on standard 135 film - referred to as 'Kleinbildfilm' in German.
Interestingly enough, the camera still is in quite good condition - even the delicate Prontor-S shutters seem to work perfectly. As soon as I get access to a flatbed scanner (which is, due to the unusual format, much better suited than my slide scanner), I'll put up a few more images.
